Corridor 33 and adjacent rooms on the lower level of VII.16.15 are on the right of the photograph.

These are Grondaia or water spouts that fed rainwater from the Compluvium in the roof to the Impluvium below.
These were reconstructed and displayed during the 19th
century in
Mau identified these as being from “a House near the Porta Marina”.
The plan provided by Mau can be used to identify the house
as

There are no rooms at this level on this side only a vertical drop to rooms on the lower level.

This photograph also shows the vertical drop at the north side of room 2, atrium.
